My name is Jared Kanoa. Being from Hawai‘i, and of Native Hawaiian decent, I have always found a love for my culture and tried to express it through my designs. Not only does Hawai‘i have the visually rich imagery, that any designer wishes for, but also the most interesting story and history that anyone can just fall in love with.
I am currently pursuing a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree with a designation in Graphic Design from the University of Hawai‘i at Manoa. I will graduate this spring with my degree. I am versed in design history, theory, and I have strong skills in both conceptualizing a design and working with typography. I also work for UH Athleticʻs Sports Marketing Department as their graphic designer. While there I have worked on large branding and marketing projects that was seen nation wide digitally and in print.
